Hi I’m Beau Thistle.
Welcome to the One-of-One Club: A collection of individuals, teams, and brands who choose to represent their story through custom, wearable artwork. Each piece is built from scratch- no templates, no repeats, and designed to reflect something personal, specific, and entirely your own. Members include global brands like Dell and Intel, world-class athletes like Drew Brees and F1 Drivers, and cultural voices like Mel Robbins, alongside individuals who simply refuse to blend in.
I started this business after leaving a career in tech sales to bet on something creative…. and then I met Chip.
He wanted to create something special for you and the team- something that felt personal, not just another gift. He gave me full creative freedom (which is my favorite way to work) and shared one key piece of information: the site plan. Okay, I’ll admit, that was a first… challenge accepted.
So the goal became: how do I turn something technical into something you’d actually want to wear?
From far away, this looks like a clean, abstract piece of artwork. But up close, there’s a different story.
The toe of the shoe is built directly from the site map of 3000 Bowers Ave. The surrounding streets are layered into the design, pulled apart and reworked so they blend into something more elevated- something that doesn’t scream what it is, but lets you discover it. And yes, every pair is unique and no two are identical. That’s the point…. remember?
The color palette leans into CBRE’s green, tying in both the brand and the building’s LEED Silver certification (which is no small accomplishment). You’ll also find moments throughout the shoe that highlight the partnership behind it, especially the role of the Sobrato Organization, in bringing this project to life. It’s meant to feel subtle. Intentional. A little bit hidden.
On you’re right, you’ll find a QR code that takes you behind the scenes- how these were designed, built, and brought to life from start to finish.
